2019

For the first time since 1986, we have updated the IKEA logo to future-proof it in a digital world. We wanted to maintain the unique characteristics of the original iconic design, but make subtle, yet impactful changes to the logo for a better experience across all formats.


We then brought the new logo design to life in digital channels with the Fönster. Swedish for ‘window’, the Fönster is designed to reflect core IKEA values of openness, curiosity and optimism that have been central to the brand as they strive to create a better everyday life for the many.
